NARVA modernizes its brand identity with a new logo, brand elements and packaging.

New NARVA RP110 headlight provides 110% brighter light for a safer night-time drive.

2015

Lumileds, the independent automotive lighting entity of the Philips Group, assumes the exclusive rights of the NARVA brand for automotive lighting.

2008

NARVA celebrates its 60th birthday. With more than 60 years of experience NARVA have established themselves as experts in automotive lighting.

2006

As a further milestone in its history, NARVA brought out a H7 lamp in hard glass technology.

2005

Investments were done to generate increased space and capacity.

1994-1999

NARVA brought the HB3/HB4 halogen lamps onto the US American market, which were developed specially for the requirements there. HB5 halogen lamp was launched in US markets.

The production of Halogen miniature lamps in hard glass started.

1978-1982

The development of hard glass took place. The H4 has been produced with that new glass technology henceforward.

The production of H4 lamps in quartz glass began.

Manufacturing of first halogen bulbs started.

Development of the brand name NARVA which reflected some important materials and processes necessary in lamp production: Nitrogen, Argon and Vacuum.

The company was founded in Germany as a factory for the production of general lighting.
